A Lord Howe Island Wedding is a destination wedding paradise. Lord Howe Island is a place where walking and cycling are the major modes of transportation. Whilst cars are available for hire, the island pace lends itself to a more gentle and relaxed method of exploring the island.
Nicole and Jason decide to write love letters to each other as part of their First Look.
As I read the letter it made me think of why we had arrived at this moment, it was a reflection of our lives together prior to our wedding day and reaffirmed to me that we should take time to enjoy the day together.
Sam explained that it was popular in America for a number of reasons, but the one reason that attracted me the most was that it provided an opportunity for us to meet each other in a calm, private environment and settle our nerves before the big event. From the moment of the ceremony onwards we would be in public view, and probably very busy talking to people and enjoying ourselves, right through to the end of the night.
I was really against the idea at first but as I thought about it more it actually made a lot of sense in our situation. Having so many close family members who have passed away I was worried about how emotional the day would be. I thought it would be good to get some of that emotion out of the way while with just Bill and me there.
So What Is ‘A First Look’ And Why Should You Consider It In Your Wedding Day?
The moment when the groom sees his bride for the first time on their wedding day is almost always an emotional one, full of surprised faces and plenty of hugs and happy tears.
